Geary County Extension Tours
Kansas Flint Hills Quilt Trail
May 28th, 2014
The group gathered in Junction City and then
traveled through Geary, Morris, and Wabaunsee Counties,
viewing barn blocks along the route,
with lunch at the historic Hays House in Council Grove.
The group then enjoyed blocks in Dickinson County,
with a snack break at the Abilene CVB.

The Geary County Extension Unit gathered in front of the
United Methodist Church in Dwight with the block
"God Loves," painted by Cher Olson.
Sharon Heidemann and Marylin Andres treated the group with
examples of their blocks, and sharing "how-to" ideas with the group.

The Geary County group gathered by the
Abilene CVB block, a pattern from the
Ida Stover Eisenhower Quilt Collection.
